In beaming evening sun, expectations were for an absolute crackerjack of a race, and we were not to be disappointed!
After four breathless laps of middleweight class action, it all came down to the last lap.
Michael Dunlop astride the extremely potent, Feel Racing backed Milwaukee Ducati, entered lap four in third, having gradually put himself into proximity with race long P1, P2 holders Richard Cooper and Davey Todd.
Incredibly by Magherabuoy Chicane Dunlop was into the race-lead. From here the TT wins record holder kept it clean, hit the right lines, to unlock his first NW200 race win since 2016.
His final lap of 4 minutes 32.162 seconds is a new Supersport NW200 lap record.
Cooper, Todd finished second, third whilst fourth place finisher Dean Harrison, joined Dunlop in besting the previous existing record Supersport lap-time.
Peter Hickman won the top Triumph pilot challenge, edging Jamie Coward for fifth as Michael Browne, Adam McLean, NW200 wins record holder Alastair Seeley, Paul Jordan swept up positions seventh to tenth.
Outside the top 10 were many a famous name including eleventh-fifteenth place finishers Ian Hutchinson, Josh Brookes, Jeremy McWilliams, Pierre Yves Bian and Michael Sweeney.
