By Junior Manx Grand Prix winners VAS Engine Racing will be back on IOM shores in 2025, with another Italian roads’ scene ace, this time European Hill Climb Superbike Championship runner-up, Supermoto Champion Salvatore Sallustro.
Confirmed to ride the same S1-R Paton raced last August by Junior MGP winner, anticipated TT debutant next year Andrea Majola, time trial specialist Sallustro (100.309 mph – PB Mountain Course lap speed) stated recently via Facebook:
“Manx GP 2025, we will race it aboard one of the most famous performance bikes in the Junior category, the Paton of the VAS Engine Racing team.
A great honour to be chosen by the team Manager Vittorio to become part of this exclusive team.
What an honour followed one of the winning Italian road racers on the Island, Andrea Majola. Now head down, the training begins.”
