2025 Luckendorfer Bergrennen – Sunday Race Results

After the rain comes the sunshine, it looked like wet tricky conditions were pending for racing at Luckendorfer Bergrennen in Germany, given this morning’s weather but it improved to almost perfect conditions ahead of final European Hill Climb Road Race Championship, race bursts of 2025.

The pace on track was red-hot, steaming, ferocious today with the overall lap-record, multiple categories record times bettered.

Maurizio Bottalico who travels this month back to IOM shores, for the Classic TT, took a race wins quadruple (Superbike x2, Supersport x2), set a new outright Luckendorf Hill Climb track-record (1.18.947).

He was, crowned-today as this year’s European Hill Climb Superbike Road Race Champion, successfully regained the Supersport title.

Bottalico’s glorious latest time trial racing project also saw him best the existing, Supersport record-time he already held, lapping at 1 minute 22.682 seconds.

New Supermoto track record-holder and two times winner today at Luckendorf is Phillip Neumuller (1.30.156) while new GP 250 track record-holder, double class winner is Thomas ‘Uccio’ Altendorfer (1.33.324), a wildcard entrant for next weekend’s IRRC Superbike races at the Czech TT in Horice.

2025 Manx Grand Prix entrant Salvatore ‘Salvo’ Sallustro showed accomplished pace, swooped four second place finishes from SBK, Supermoto races. Sallustro’s top lap-time in the saddle of 1000cc machinery (R1 Yamaha) was 1 minute 21.412 seconds.
