Hodson, on route to Supersport (A) Race Three glory, set a best lap time of 1 minute 50.027 seconds.
Competitors recording new personal best lap times, at England’s only present, existing real roads venue included John Marsh (1.51.155), David McArthur (1.52.675), Joey Lambden (1.52.828), Eddy Wormald (1.55.367) and Scott Aitkin (1.55.369).
Rapidest Scarborough debutant, fourth quickest overall was Cowton Racing’s hugely impressive Franco Bourne (1.51.348).
