By On route to Bob Smith Spring Cup success, Boyce Precision Engineering/Russell Racing’s Michael Browne, clocked the speediest lap of the meeting, lapping below the 1 minute 47 seconds barrier.
Browne’s top time (1.46.848) was just over one second faster than nearest best time chaser, Super Twins, Classic Superbike race one winner Rob Hodson, who set a new PB Scarborough time of 1.47.882 seconds.
Final remaining competitors to lap under 1 minutes 50 seconds were Gary McCoy (1.48.025), Mike Norbury (1.49.161) and Marcus Simpson (1.49.435).
Road’s scene newcomer, Parker Transport Racing’s Josh Corner finished 22nd quickest overall whilst in total 38 competitors recorded sub-2-minute lap times.
