This year’s event entry numbers total sixty, thirteen of whom are newcomers with eleven nations overall represented. No.1 plate carrier again, Dan Ingham (CTI Motorsport – Yamaha) is widely tipped for another strong performance.
Others likely to contend for the podium include Jamie Williams (NCE Racing), Chris Cook, Sam Johnson and Maurizio Bottalico riding for World Supersport team, MotoZoo Me Air Racing.
Don’t rule out either from obtaining standout results Sidecar TT legend, Senior race rostrum finisher in 2011 Dan Sayle (Falcon Electrical), Eoin O’Siochru (Roadhouse Macau Racing), Jacque Foley, Michael Rees, Team ILR with Frog Vehicle Developments Julien Cregniot.
Sole MV Agusta equipped rider Louis O’Regan, Basomba Racing’s Lancelot Unissart, Michael Gahan, Daniel Forbes, Yann Galli, VRS Racing’s Andy Skov, Dennis Booth (TH Racing).
Paul Marley (Cowton Racing), Justin Collins, Damian Horan, Ryan Whitehall, Oliver’s Mount Barry Sheene Trophy winner Don Gilbert, Darragh Trappe, Erik Kjuus (Aware Moto Racing).
There’s also an ambitious group of newcomers featuring many with proven road racing acumen, for example 2022 Baja International Tourist Cup runner-up Dave Thomas, Darragh Crean, Will Burchell, Oliver Macrae, Oliver’s Mount Scarborough regulars Jack Sim, Johnny Stewart.
Pending non alterations to the intended schedule, these riders tomorrow will gain their first major laps around the fabled, mythical Mountain Course in the early afternoon (1:30 PM start-time).
