By Following yet another bout of overnight rain allied to a quick burst of early morning inclement weather, the Monday racing itinerary for the 2024 Manx Grand Prix, has largely altered.
Firstly, the Junior (Super Twins) race wont’ restart, with a race result decided via racers’ positions during lap one of Saturday’s red-flagged contest.
Although not official yet this means race victory for VAS Engine Racing’s Andrea Majola ahead of Maurizio Bottalico (Dafabet Racing Kawasaki) and Dan Ingham (Castings Technology Yamaha).
Roads are hoped to close at 12:30 PM, all race distances are below four-laps.
The present updated schedule, reads as follows:
12:30 PM – Roads to close
1:10 PM – Junior Classics Race – One Lap
2:15 PM – Senior Race – Three Laps
3:40 PM – Lightweight Race – Two Laps
5:10 PM – Classic Superbike Race – Three Laps
6:35 PM – Senior Classics Race – Two Laps
