Last weekend, the latest round of the national hill-climb Championships took place, attracting a diverse field of competitors including TT 2023 exponent Amalric Blanc.

Earlier in the week, gaining his first taste of the Southern 100 before the event was cancelled, by Saturday Blanc, the quickest Manx GP debutant of 2022 was focusing his attentions on the Course De Cote Panissieres – Panissieres Hill Climb.

Piloting trusty S1000RR BMW tackle, he went onto clinch Superbike, Scratch class triumphs and finished third best within the Supersport field.

The next Championnat De France De La Montagne (French Mountain Championship) event takes place next week (23rd-24th July), with the municipality of Haut Valromey hosting.
