Pastures New For Classic Superbike Manx GP Winner Hodson

It’s pastures new this year for Classic Superbike Manx Grand Prix winner Rob Hodson, having parted company with the RC Express Racing run Dafabet Racing team, after three seasons working together.

Southern 100, Oliver’s Mount winner Hodson has disclosed, that he is set to link up with a still to be confirmed, new road racing squad.

Commenting via a statement about today’s intriguing update, the 56th fastest racer in TT history stated:

“It has been a difficult decision to leave the team given the working relationship we have developed over the last 3 years, highs, not too many lows, but always plenty of laughs.

Riding for the RC Express/Dafabet Racing team has been a good experience and I would like to express my sincere thanks to all involved for the hard work and effort preparing and providing bikes for me to ride, as well as the opportunities and connections that have opened up to me through the team.

I would like to wish the team the best of luck for their future racing.”

Hodson added:

“I am leaving to pursue a new opportunity developing, which is a new and exciting venture.

A ‘new team’ but one with many familiar faces who have helped me in racing greatly in recent years and one which I am looking forward to sharing with you all very soon.

I also have teams and machines in place for the ‘Classic’ classes to be used at the Manx Grand Prix, which news about will also follow in the coming weeks.”
