Owen Graves debuted Yamaha’s new YZF R6 Supersport steed last weekend at Scarborough, showcasing the undoubted potential of the high profile new mount.
Cementing his status as one of Oliver’s Mount’s rising stars, the Hull based racer impressed aboard the Track Bike Hire/PMH Promotions backed machine, wrapping up series of highly creditable results, within the support races.
Race action last Saturday, began with a very respectable seventh, in the opening Junior B race, which was backed up by a top six finish, in the first leg of the Solo Open B races.
Day 2 of competition at the mount, would see Owen secure another collection of solid finishes, including fourth within, Solo Open B race 2, along the way, lapping at close to under the 1 minute 56 second mark.

July sees the ambitious rider, take in the Southern 100 for the first time.
He’s hugely looking forward to competing around the iconic roads of Billown, at a meeting, which over the years has proved extremely productive for multiple Auto 66 Club racers.
