Newcomers to Oliver’s Mount are looking forward to 2014 Scarborough gold cup. Amongst the riders making their debut at the iconic road race circuit includes Phil Crowe.
Phil made his TT debut this year securing 45th place finish in superstock TT plus impressing recording lap speed of 121.593 mph. Most recently at the Ulster Grand Prix he secured 18th position in superstock race alongside a highly creditable 14th place finish in feature superbike race following an excellent all round performance.
For his debut around Oliver’s Mount Phil is S1000RR BMW mounted for superbike races and is greatly looking forward to competing for first time around the road race circuit known to many as a mini TT.
Derek Wilkie third place finisher in 2013 Ulster 400 road race championship and top 20 finisher in 2014 Irish road race 400 championship is another seasoned road racer set to make his debut for first time at Oliver’s Mount. Derek at the Armoy road races produced a superb ride to 4th position in 400 race and is excited about this weekends racing where there is set to be 12 newcomers to one of the most famous pure road racing circuits in the world.
