Last evening, Tyco BMW unveiled their new colour scheme for 2017, which sees the multi TT winning outfit’s S1000RR BMW’s, carry a livery, with much more blue involved.
In my opinion it’s a livery, that reflects a greater sense of BMW’s motorsport’s heritage.

Speaking about this topic, Philip Neill, Tyco BMW’s Team Manager, stated:
“We always pride ourselves on the work that goes into producing a clean and recognisable livery on track, yet displays the ethos of the BMW brand and in turn promotes our leading sponsors like Tyco Security Products in the correct manner.
Fans of the team will immediately identify the significant changes in our livery for this season, and the subtle bespoke colour elements that we’ve added.
We are delighted to once again represent BMW Motorrad UK, our title sponsor Tyco Security Products and our associate sponsors in 2017 as their official team.
We’d also like to welcome Eddie Stobart on-board as a new team sponsor for the year ahead.”
Having enjoyed a momentous 2016 international roads campaign with Ian Hutchinson, the TAS Racing outfit is confident of an even greater year on the roads with the 14 times TT winner.
The main aim is 100 percent, Pokerstars Senior TT success. Hutchy’s first outing on the new look Tyco BMW’s, is set to be in March at Cartagena in Spain.
BMW Motorrad UK, National Marketing and PR Manager Scott Grimsdall, added that it’s an exciting year on the horizon, with the Ulster GP record holders:
“This is an exciting year and everyone at BMW Motorrad UK is ready to see what lays ahead.
We know the Tyco BMW team is a fantastic set-up capable of preparing competitive bikes and we have exceptionally talented riders signed and hungry for success.”
