Celebrating recently his 50th birthday, 2019 Spirit of the Manx winner Rodger Wibberley is the next racer to take part in Road Racing News, rising in popularity Manx GP Top 6 series.
15th, 13th respectively in last August’s Lightweight MGP races, his answers to the Mountain Course themed set of questions are as follows:
Q1: When you first competed at the Manx, what was your first initial thought of the Mountain Course?
“Was a dream come true and just pure madness.”
Q2: Most memorable Manx GP bike?
“Got to be my Yamaha R6.”
Q3: Most treasured memory from the Manx?
“Winning the Spirit of the Manx award in 2019.”
Q4: Is there one specific Manx GP competitor that you look up to?
“Every Manx GP competitor but in my first year got to be Alan and Andy Jackson for giving me advice.”
Q5: Describe the Manx GP in one word?
“Special”
Q6: Finally, if you could race one machine from any series, championship around the Mountain Course, what would it be?
“Got to be any 2 stroke, NSR 500 (Honda) V Twin.”
