Macau GP Set For Centre Stage In November

Barring unforeseen circumstances, the world famous Macau Grand Prix is set to take centre stage for International roads competitors/teams in November, albeit those that are willing to undertake a two week quarantine once arriving in Macau.

Organisers have stated that they still don’t have confirmation yet that real road racing giants from outside of Macau including the likes of Peter Hickman, Michael Rutter, Gary Johnson, John McGuinness, will be competing due to the obvious problem worldwide, that has existed now for over six months, the Covid-19 pandemic.

On the positive side though, there will be chances for race fans to spectate although with strict measures in place (Covid-19 related, plus it’s good to hear that competitive action around the Guia Circuit is still set to take place from the 19th-22nd November.

Expect over coming weeks more information from prospective event entrants like Rich Energy OMG Racing’s Johnson, who are aiming to sample what potentially will be the only International roads meeting of 2020.
