IRRC expeditions a plenty are in the offing for Ballymoney’s Darryl Tweed, having penned a deal with Andre Van Den Brink’s Never Be Clever Racing team.
2018 Irish Road Race Lightweight Supersport Champion, Tweed’s first IRRC tilt sees him team-mate to Welsh ace Rhys Hardisty, racing YZF-R1, YZF-R6 Yamaha’s.
Whilst an IRRC newcomer, his years of prior roads scene experience will stand him in good stead, as he takes on a selection of Europe’s most iconic road race circuits.
This includes Horice, Frohburg, Circuit De Chimay and Nordic Nations top roads event, Imatranajo.
‘Tommy Club’ member Tweed has also confirmed that he is TT 2024 bound with his new suitors.
Just like team-mate, two stroke maestro Hardisty, it’s Yamaha power for the 1000cc, Supersport races, as he aims to prominently reacquaint himself with the illustrious, unparalleled Mountain Course, which he last raced five years ago.
