Twice Manx Grand Prix winner Jim Hind, excelled at the latest NG (North Gloucester) Road Racing round at Cadwell Park.
In humid conditions, Hind aboard the Bass Tyre Services/NLC Components YZF R6 Yamaha, dominated the Open 600 field, scoring a hat-trick of middleweight class successes.
Second behind former TT exponent John Ingram, within the opening Phoenix Open encounter, the second-class race expedition, would see Hind storm to victory spoils, finishing 20.423 seconds in front of lead chaser, Weston Hills backed Kirt Powell.
The 31st fastest racer in TT history, won’t be on racing duties at the upcoming Steve Henshaw Gold Cup but will be in attendance, on the spanners for regular team-mate Arthur Gissing.
Gissing presently sixth in the NG Road Racing, HM Racing 600 Clubman Championship standings, has previously participated at the Oliver’s Mount Cock O’The North, Barry Sheene Classic meets.
For this year’s Gold Cup extravaganza (23rd-24th September), Market Rasen’s Gissing holds the 25 plate.
