Every Northwest 200, a very worthy charity gains support and this year’s it’s rescue, searching for missing individuals’ specialists, Community Rescue Service.
First established seventeen years ago, one cannot but have admiration for those associated with this cause.
Speaking about their new partnership with the NW200, Regional Commander for the Community Rescue Service, Sean McCarry, stated:
“Being chosen as the Briggs Equipment Northwest 200 charity partner for 2024 is a tremendous boost for the Community Rescue Service and our hundreds of volunteers who cover the whole region of Northern Ireland in searches for missing persons, day and night, and in all weathers.”
The Northwest 200’s Mervyn Whyte added:
“We are delighted to provide our backing to all of those hard-working people who brave the elements to assist those in danger and we are confident race fans will join us in supporting the CRS.”
Another timely reminder that the Briggs Equipment Northwest200, opens the pure road racing ‘Majors’ calendar for 2024, with race week commencing from the 6th-11th of May.
