TT 2017: Friday Practice – Three Wheeling Hero’s At Last Back Out On The Mountain Course!

With what has transpired in recent days, it was great to see the Sidecar fraternity, enjoy a successful and productive practice session, with multiple outfits producing eye catching performances.

Amongst them included pace setters Dave Molyneux/Dan Sayle. Fastest via lap speed of 114.744 mph, the Manx TT legends are looking in top notch form, with race week just around the corner.

Finishing second quickest tonight, behind the Yamaha powered duo was Tim Reeves and newcomer passenger, Mark Wilkes, who lapped at 114.35.

Silicone Engineering Racing’s John Holden/Lee Cain (112.085) followed the Klaus Klaffenbock backed team on the time sheets, they where followed by Karl Bennett/Maxime Vasseur (109.512) and Brian Gray Powerbiking sponsored Alan Founds/Jake Lowther (109.036).

The top six in practice, was rounded out by Lewis Blackstock/Patrick Rosney (107.949), whilst the likes of the Ramsden’s, Wayne Lockey/Mark Sayers, Greg Lambert/Julie Canipa, Dave Wallis/Scott Hardie and Mick Alton/Chrissie Clancy all showed solid and accomplished speed.

Lap record holders, the Birchall brothers gained no laps this evening, same applied to Peter Founds/Jevan Walmsley and former TT winners Conrad Harrison/Andy Winkle.
