Rad Hughes is planning to compete at all meetings at Oliver’s Mount in 2015.
2013 junior support race winner at the Southern 100 Rad always enjoys competing around the mount. Main highlights in 2014 at the unique road race circuit for him included sixth and seventh place finishes in super twin races during the Barry Sheene road race festival.
Rad is set to compete at this years Barry Sheene road race festival alongside season opening spring cup national road races, cock of the north road races and the 69th Scarborough gold cup.
The spring cup national road races which takes place on 11th-12th of April is set to see Rad compete in super twin, supersport and superbike races.
Alongside action around Oliver’s Mount Rad is planning to return to the Manx Grand Prix. In 2014 the popular rider enjoyed an extremely positive two weeks competition on the mountain course.
Following 23rd place finish in junior race excellent 10th place finish was recorded in super twins race following an accomplished all round performance.
Another 23rd place finish was sealed in senior race as Rad ended the 2014 Manx Grand Prix in solid and consistent style.
In recent years Rad has secured many top quality results, he will be aiming for more results of the same ilk this year at Oliver’s Mount and Manx Grand Prix.
