Pre TT Classic Races Set To Provide Thrilling Action

The 2015 pre TT classic races are set to provide thrilling action.

Reigning Duke road race rankings champion James Cowton is all set to return to Billown as he competes on 500 Honda and TZ250 Yamaha machinery.

Regarded by many as a TT winner in the making James will be aiming for top class results as will 2014 Steve Henshaw international gold cup winner Ivan Lintin.

Winner of opening super twins race at 2014 Southern 100 Ivan is all set for competition on a G50 Seeley and 750 Kawasaki in classic superbike races.

10 times Manx Grand Prix winner Roy Richardson competes on 500 Paton and 350 Honda machinery whilst amongst the 13 newcomers entered include Dave Hewson.

Dave who will be piloting Barratt Transport backed TZ250 Yamaha is hugely looking forward to competing for the first around Billown.

Further quality to the entry list is added by Jamie Coward, Alan Bud Jackson, Chris Mcgahan, Ewan Hamilton and road racing stalwart Ted Fenwick.

Add in Paul Coward, Terry Kermode, Rich Hawkins, Chris Barratt, Roger Birkenhead, Bill Swallow, Mike Hose and runner up in last years 350 classic TT Alan Oversby it proves the overall quality depth of the entry.

Amongst a 21 strong sidecar races entry list includes the highly experienced Eddy Wright who is teaming up with Kieran Clark.

The meeting begins during Friday evening with opening practice sessions, whilst Saturday sees qualifying and opening two races taking place which are opening 350 and 250 singles races.

On the 2nd of June a full days racing is in prospect at Billown which includes 250, 350, 500 and classic superbike action.
