By Matthew Rees is ready for action around Oliver’s Mount in 2015. Matthew made his debut around the mount at the Ian Watson spring cup road races last year.
Supersport race at the spring cup saw him achieve highly respectable 18th place finish whilst spring cup B final race would prove to be one of the standout moments from his first year of competition around the road race circuit known to many as a mini TT.
Race victory was recorded for the rider competing on GT superbikes backed ZX6R Kawasaki after a race long duel with Jack Hunter.

He was back at the mount at the Barry Sheene road race festival and following two consistent performances 10th and 11th place finishes where wrapped up in supersport races whilst modern senior race 2 saw Matthew finish leading 600 mounted rider following seventh place finish.
Cock of the north road races would see more highly creditable results secured which included 13th place finish in feature race.

The prestigious Scarborough gold cup would prove to be highly productive for the rider who had recently finished sixth in newcomers A Manx Grand Prix.
Third position was recorded in opening senior B race as Matthew continued his quick progress around one of the most popular road race circuits in the world. Senior B race two saw fourth position chalked up which was followed by 15th place finish in Steve Henshaw international gold cup.

Regarded by many as a specialist at Aberdare park road races Matthew proved in 2014 his pedigree around Oliver’s Mount where there’s every chance more top class results will be on the cards this year.
