IRRC Horice: Cerveny Holds Off Le Grelle In High Quality Superbike Qualifying Duel

Marek Cerveny delighted the large crowd at Horice by securing pole for both IRRC Superbike encounters, having got the better of Sebastien Le Grelle in a high quality, qualifying duel.

The Wepol/Safemetal Racing riders lap time of lap 2 minute 15.920 seconds was only 0.315 quicker than champion elect Le Grelle, who will still be pretty satisfied with qualifying having outpaced main title rival Didier Grams.

Four times IRRC Superbike champion Grams qualified fourth behind the impressive Lukas Maurer, whilst fifth and sixth fastest, Supersport pace setter Kamil Holan and Petr Biciste also showed accomplished form.

Same applied to seventh quickest Markka Racing’s Erno Kostamo as Johan Fredriks, Pavel Tomecek and Josef Luksik culminated the ten fastest qualifiers.
