Dan Kneen is all set to make his Faugheen 50 road races debut as he bids to clinch Irish road race superbike championship. Cookstown Burrows engineering racing rider Dan is having a superb all round season of road racing which has included wins at Cookstown 100, Tandragee 100, Kells road races, Skerries road races, Walderstown road races.
Plus podium finishes at Southern 100 and Armoy road races where recently the rider who won three races in a week at 2008 Manx Grand Prix acquired third place finish in race of legends.
Following Faugheen 50 road races Dan’s attention then turns to the Ulster Grand Prix will he be aiming for his first international road race podium finish. Currently 4th in Duke road race rankings championship there’s no doubt that there’s every opportunity to be challenging near the sharp end in all classes.

Dan is also confirmed to compete at Classic TT races where he will be bidding for more top results on the mountain course. Before 2014 road racing started Dan Kneen was regarded as a rising star in road racing, now the rider who lapped at 129.3 mph at TT 2014 is known now as one of the leading road racers in the world.
