2018 Chimay Event Dates Released

The event dates for next years meetings at Belgium’s most famous roads venue Chimay, have recently been released with competition same as this year set to take place near the end of next July.

The Classic Bikes meet which regularly attracts many of the UK’s foremost Classic racing exponents, is set to take place from the 20th to the 22nd of July.

Set to follow in the following week from the 27th to the 29th of July, the prestigious Open Trophy looks set to once again form part next year of the International Road Racing Championship.

Established as one of continental Europe’s most prestigious and highly regarded roads circuits, competition at Chimay in 2017 has seen a who’s who of Belgium’s leading road racers excel on the fast, flowing roads course which has in total 16 turns.

The most recent Open Trophy meeting saw the two most recent IRRC Superbike champions Vincent Lonbois and Sebastien Le Grelle, set the standard within the big bike encounters.

Whilst the Supersport and Super Twin races provided victories for Performance Racing Achterhoek’s Joey Den Besten, Pierre Yves Bian and Optimark Road Racing’s Xavier Denis.

Over 90 years since first holding roads competition, more world class pure road racing action is a guarantee next year at the well loved venue that is Circuit De Chimay.
